delegation from the Turkish Court of Accounts (TCA), led by its President, H.E.

Mr. Metin Yener, paid a working visit to the Mongolian National Audit Office

(MNAO). As part of the visit, Auditor General of Mongolia H.E. Mr. Magnaisuren

S. received the delegation today. H.E. Ms. Başak Genç Yüksel, Ambassador

Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Türkiye to Mongolia; Mr. Mustafa

Bütün, Ulaanbaatar Program Coordinator of the Turkish Cooperation and

Coordination Agency (TİKA) in Ulaanbaatar; and other officials also attended

the meeting. During the

meeting, the two sides exchanged views on cooperation between the Supreme Audit

Institutions (SAIs) of Mongolia and Türkiye, including the exchange of good

practices, strengthening the professional capacity of staff, and organizing

joint training programs. President

of the Turkish Court of Accounts H.E. Mr. Metin Yener noted that the purpose of

his visit to Mongolia was to advance the implementation of activities under the

renewed Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation signed in February this

year. He also expressed the TCA’s readiness to share its experience in

AI-driven digital transformation with the Mongolian National Audit Office and

to move forward with a cooperation project to be implemented through TİKA.Auditor

General of Mongolia H.E. Mr. Magnaisuren S. emphasized that the strategic

priorities of the Mongolian National Audit Office include digitalizing audit

processes, integrating artificial intelligence into audit activities, improving

the implementation of audit decisions, and strengthening the professional

capacity of its staff. He noted that there is considerable potential to learn

from the experience of the Turkish Court of Accounts and further strengthen

cooperation in these areas. Established

in 1862, the Turkish Court of Accounts has more than 160 years of experience in

public financial oversight. In addition to conducting financial, compliance,

and performance audits, the TCA has a distinctive judicial function,

adjudicating matters concerning public losses identified in the course of

audits.
